The CM Balestro circular and rectangular flotation devices have been studied and designed for use in wastewater and industrial water treatment processes to separate suspended solids or oils from a liquid solution, using the principle of flotation.
The operation occurs through the generation of micro air bubbles that bind to the solids or oils present in the water which, through some specific reagents, make them float towards the surface. Once on the surface, these materials form a layer of foam or flakes which is then removed mechanically.
The Cylindrical Flotation Device, thanks to its shape, promotes a regular flow of the liquid, improving the efficiency of the process and optimizing the separation.
